Energy Healing for Digestive Issues in Cats: A Case Study on Trust, Tummies and a Cat Who Said “Do Not Try to Fix Me”

How energy healing supported a newly adopted cat through digestive challenges, while his vet continued to manage the condition medically.

Case at a Glance:

  • Animal: Jasper (Former Street Cat, Newly Adopted)
  • Primary Issue: Digestive challenges with vomiting and low appetite, alongside high anxiety and strong resistance to being touched. His vet diagnosed and managed the digestive condition throughout.
  • Energetic & Emotional Findings: An overstimulated nervous system with constant ear twitching, a racing heart, a queasy stomach and held-back elimination. His energy field was dense and heavy, his solar plexus faded and hiding, and his heart chakra overactive. He was still adjusting from street life to an indoor home, and his gut was out of balance after the change in diet.
  • Modalities Used: Animal Communication, Scalar Energy Healing, Qigong (Dantiens, Central Flow & Extraordinary Meridians), Polarity Balancing, Chakra Clearing and Shielding, Wei Chi Strengthening, and EFT.
  • Outcome: Keeping his food down with a healthy appetite, thriving on the new protein diet his vet recommended, letting his human stroke him every day, and meowing to talk to her for the first time.

Digestive issues in cats rarely live in the stomach alone. When a cat is anxious, unsettled, or still learning that a new home is safe, the gut is often the first place that tension shows up. This is a story about energy healing for cats with digestive issues, and it belongs to Jasper, a former street cat in Melbourne who was learning, one meal at a time, how to let his guard down.

Before anything else: Jasper’s vet diagnosed and treated his digestive condition throughout, adjusting his medication and diet as he progressed. My role was to create alignment and balance so that his body had the support it needed to heal.

The Challenge: A Wary Cat With a Troubled Tummy

Claire had adopted Jasper six months earlier. He had spent his early life outdoors, never socialised with people, and he was an anxious cat who allowed a stroke only once in a while. Two months before we met, he had begun vomiting, and his vet had just confirmed a digestive condition. Claire was looking for a way to support him beyond the medication.

April 23rd: Animal Communication With Jasper

When I listen to what a cat is telling me, I always let them introduce themselves first. Jasper opened the session in his own style: “Hi, you called.”

He came through full of opinions, fiercely independent, very much a my-way-or-the-highway sort of cat, energetically aware, and watchful over Pippa, the other cat in the house. A bit of a badass, if I am being frank, and very cautious with people.

He showed me streets and trash cans, which Claire confirmed was his earlier life outdoors. These days he loved hanging out with Claire, felt safe enough indoors to relax a little, and showed me images of full food and water bowls, along with a strong sense of relief.

On being touched, he was clear. Claire was his, his territory, and he was in the process of taking her under his wing. Being handled, though, felt like a blow to his dignity. There was something wonderfully Jack Nicholson about him.

He described himself as testing the waters, moving from an outdoor life to an indoor one, and happy to give up the streets, though not entirely there yet. What he needed was space and respect for who he was. “Do not try to fix me,” he said. He also asked that Claire rest more, saying this was a healing journey for both of them.

On his digestion, what came through was a gut thrown out of balance by the change in diet that came with domestication, which Claire confirmed lined up with when the symptoms began.

The Intuitive Scan

His nervous system felt overwhelmed, and his ears kept twitching through the session, something Claire confirmed she sees often. His heart rate felt fast. His tummy was queasy, and his elimination felt held back, as if he was bracing. There was also stress around his kidneys that read as emotional, rooted in fear.

The First Energy Healing Session

Jasper’s energy field was dense and clogged, as though heavy boulders were sitting on top of him, so we began with a thorough clearing. Reading his chakras one by one, his sacral felt tender, his solar plexus had faded as if hiding, and his heart was racing, too bright and too fast. From his throat upwards, each chakra sat inside a shiny blue glass-like cover, which I removed before adding fresh shields.

From there, I balanced his yin and yang polarities, activated and cleared his dantiens, strengthened and reset his solar plexus, opened his central flow, and closed by bringing in fresh Scalar energy.

The Messy Middle

That evening, Jasper had good energy and seemed well. By Thursday, he vomited again, the same symptom that had started it all, and his appetite dipped. Claire and I agreed on a set of three further sessions.

April 28th: Slow, Without Forcing

This session called for patience. I worked with very slow Scalar energy, with the intention of bringing relaxation without pushing anything. His chakras wanted to spin slowly, so I let them. My usual clearing methods met resistance, so I switched to breathing fresh energy in and stale energy out, and finished with golden shields for each chakra.

Claire’s update that week:

“Having a pretty good week! He’s eating regularly and showing some signs of bonding with me more.”

May 5th: Building Strength

This time I used water and air clearing across all his chakras. His solar plexus was weak, his root took time, his third eye and crown needed attention, and his throat felt full of pins and needles. I brought in cosmic energies, white Scalar light, and worked on his energy field and Wei Chi, his protective energy layer, which turned out to be wonderfully big.

“Jasper has been doing well; his appetite is good! He is letting me stroke him a little, which has been wonderful. He spends a good deal of time in our sunroom, watching backyard wildlife.”

May 12th: An Angry Day, and EFT

Jasper arrived hissing and snarling, clearly put out about something. So we tapped on it together with EFT:

Annoyed. Angry. Leave me alone. Claire means well. I can tolerate her inadequacies. We can be together.

After the EFT, I continued with very slow Scalar work, Qigong clearing and strengthening, rebalanced an overextended solar plexus, worked through his dantiens and extraordinary meridians, and added shields to every chakra.

By then he was taking his medication with food without complaint, and his vet had begun tapering his steroids. He was more affectionate on some days, though still choosy about touch.

May 30th: Checking In With Jasper

Claire wanted to know how he was feeling, and why he sometimes seemed so hard to read. Jasper said he was mostly content, more open to trusting, and that he found Claire hard to read at times too, calm one moment and worked up the next. His own moods swung as well, especially when his stomach felt queasy, which made him irritable and temperamental. That same swing explained his on-and-off play with Pippa.

He asked for energy work for his stomach and had no complaints about his diet. His favourite things now were Pippa, his playmate, and sleeping sprawled out with all four paws splayed.

That session focused on his root, excess heat around his solar plexus, his heart, and Qigong work through his dantiens and extraordinary meridians to ease his energy flow.

Where Jasper Is Now

We continued with weekly remote sessions, then tapered them as he settled. On a check-in call in early July, Claire shared the change. Jasper was affectionate and interactive, letting her stroke him every day and even meowing to talk to her. He was keeping his food down and doing well on the new protein diet his vet had recommended.

Claire later wrote:

“Indrani has been my go-to for my cats for years now. When my new cat was diagnosed with [a digestive condition], I reached out to Indrani. Right after the first session, I noticed that my cat was more affectionate. Indrani did Scalar Wave sessions, and with each session I could see my cat making those small changes. It’s been a month now and I am so very grateful to see that he has a healthy appetite and can keep his food down. She is such a patient and kind-hearted healer and I am so grateful that I found her.”

What This Case Taught Me About Digestive Issues in Cats

Jasper’s stomach and his sense of safety were tied together from the very first session. As he learned to trust his home and his human, his body found steadier ground too. His vet looked after the condition, his diet changed to suit him, and the energy work gave his nervous system room to settle. He asked me on day one to leave him unfixed and respected, and in the end, that respect was exactly what allowed him to heal.
