There’s a particular stillness that arrives just before an animal connection begins. It feels both vast and intimate, like standing at the ocean’s edge before dawn. In 2025, I learned to trust that silence more deeply, to follow what animals showed me even when it defied logic.
This year was about the animals I worked with, their stories changed me forever. It was also about what they asked me to become: more grounded, more open, more willing to stand in mystery without needing immediate answers.
They taught me that healing happens when we create space for truth to reveal itself.
Here are five stories of animal healing and communication that shaped my year.
A friend called, her voice carrying that blend of joy and wonder that comes with unexpected gifts. A tiny kitten had wandered in from the rain, completely certain she’d found home. But there was a senior boy cat already living there—sharp-witted, boundary-conscious, particular about his space. Would he accept her?
I’d worked with that senior boy before. When I connected with him about the new arrival, he smirked (yes, cats absolutely smirk) and said, “About time.”
During the kitten’s scalar energy healing session, she spoke of flowing rivers and monsoon disruption, of feeling swept along by forces beyond her control. Then she said something that made everything clear: “I feel safe now. Anchored. Home.”
My friend’s house now holds sass and flow together—an old soul and young spirit who found their rhythm.
The lesson: Animals know where they belong before we figure out the logistics. Our job is to get out of the way and let knowing unfold.
Usha reached out on a Sunday morning with urgency in her message. Her cat Rock was struggling. She needed help now.
I cleared my schedule immediately. Sometimes grace shows up as a Sunday morning plea, and you simply say yes.
Rock’s personality came through instantly—amusing, complex, deeply feeling. What struck me were the health dissonances appearing in areas Usha had never mentioned to anyone. When I shared what I sensed, validation washed across her face because I named what she’d been feeling but couldn’t articulate.
During Rock’s first session, the clearing was obvious. He yawned, stretched, released what his body had been holding. He became cuddly again, reclaimed his old favorite spot that he’d abandoned when feeling unsafe. I watched him remember how to rest, to let down his guard, to trust he could be cared for.
The lesson: The most profound animal healing happens on unplanned days. And creating non-judgmental space where guardians feel safe sharing their deepest fears? That’s half the healing already.
I had the honor of walking alongside the most majestic dog as he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. In his final days, he asked for one thing: celebration with his family.
With energy healing, his distress softened, his spirit relaxed. His humans were gifted sacred moments. After the first session in May, they wrote: “He had a beautiful week, his energy was great, his digestion improved, and he walked six miles on Sunday morning.”
Six miles. With his family. In his final chapter.
This has been the pattern: energy work helps animals transition with ease and dignity, essence intact. It gives guardians the gift of real peace—knowing they showed up fully, honored their companion all the way to the threshold.
The lesson: Our animals ask us to walk beside them with respect and love, making their journey home sacred through acknowledgment.
Manny’s dog carried chronic health issues—digestion problems, allergies, behavioral concerns rooted in fear and anxiety. The kind of layered challenges that test even the most devoted guardians.
Through our animal communication and healing work together, her dog showed significant improvement every session. Allergies reduced. Vitality returned. Happiness became visible again.
Then something else happened, something I see often: Manny herself began healing. Her sleep improved. Digestion balanced. Chronic illness symptoms eased. Her general wellbeing expanded into spaces that had been contracted for years.
This is what people discover about energy work: when we heal the animal, we often heal the human holding them. The bond between them runs so deep that restoration on one end of the leash ripples toward the other.
The lesson: Healing is relationship. We think we’re addressing one body, but we’re actually tending an entire ecosystem of connection. The most powerful shifts happen between beings.
Kari came during profound challenges with her beloved dog, who was facing soul-level initiations. The messages that came through awakened renewed faith in her—reminders that our animal companions are powerful teachers walking alongside us.
When it was time for her dog to continue her soul journey beyond this world, Kari found peace and clarity.
Our work together continued. Kari brought me into the lives of multiple animals: a lost cat, a stray dog that found her, two dog siblings, a young male dog who’d endured trauma then survived a serious car accident. Each time, I provided insights, healing, guidance—the kind of support that flows when you’re holding space for humans through profound moments with their animal family.
The lesson: There are people actively seeking shamanic-level animal communication and healing, who recognize it immediately, who remember this way of being in their souls. Finding each other is recognition. And when that happens, extraordinary healing becomes possible.
If I distilled this year into one lesson: animals are always speaking, and most of what they say lives beneath words.
They speak in energy shifts and behavioral changes, in what they choose and avoid, in silences between what we expect and what actually unfolds.
These stories of animal healing and communication show that healing is about creating conditions where wholeness can remember itself, where truth can surface naturally. It’s about showing up with enough presence that animals feel safe revealing what’s really happening—then having courage to share that truth even when it challenges everything the humans involved thought they knew.
